On Tuesday, June 11 from noon-1:30, four Wayne State University Library System archivists will discuss how they incorporate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in their work at the Reuther.

Topics include social media and community engagement, AV materials, and selection, description, and arrangement processes.

Featured speakers Dr. Louis Jones, Shae Rafferty, Elizabeth Clemens and Meghan Courtney will discuss why it's critical for archivists to represent all sides of a historical event and to fill in the gaps in the historical record.

Light snacks will be provided (including keto and vegan options), but feel free to bring your lunch.

Event takes place in the second-floor conference room of the Walter Reuther Library, 5401 Cass Avenue, Detroit.

All are welcome.
