University Research Corridor Infrastructure Innovation Tour: Wrap-Up Forum

Over the past nine months, the URC Infrastructure Innovation Tour united researchers, lawmakers and business leaders in exploring and revealing new insights about solving some of the state's most pressing challenges.

Held in Detroit, Michigan's largest urban center, the final forum is the last piece of the URC's Infrastructure Tour, designed to highlight key infrastructure challenges in Michigan communities and the value of research and innovation in identifying solutions. Attendees at the final forum will review key lessons learned, explore next steps and share suggestions for communities around the state.

 

Joining the discussion will be legislators, business leaders and URC experts.

The URC is one of the nation’s top academic research clusters and a leading engine for innovation in the Great Lakes region. An alliance of Michigan State University, the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, the URC is focused on increasing economic prosperity and connecting Michigan to the world. Over the past five years alone, the URC institutions conducted $1.64 billion in infrastructure-related R&D.
