This summer institute, hosted by Wayne State University, and jointly sponsored by the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes and the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange, will focus on how post-industrial cities like Detroit and Shenyang, once manufacturing powerhouses, use or reuse their space.
