The second annual College of Nursing Dr. Virginia Hill Rice Endowed Lectureship will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 4 p.m. in the Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium in the WSU Law School.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Dan Weberg, a nurse leader and expert in human-centered patient design and simulation and healthcare innovation with extensive clinical experience in the emergency department, acute in-patient hospital settings, and academia over the past 12 years. Dr. Weberg is an author, leadership scholar and the Senior Director for Innovation and Leadership for Kaiser Permanente National Nursing Strategy Department. He is also a core team member for technology and inter-professional curriculum for the new Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine. His presentation will be Building Cultures of Innovation: Preparing for Disruptions in Healthcare.

This event is open to all Wayne State University students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends.
