Wayne State's Gordon L. Grosscup Museum of Anthropology, housed in Old Main, is currently recruiting student volunteers for our museum gallery. If you are interested in anthropology, museums, or just want to find a way to get involved at the university, the Museum of Anthropology might be the place for you! Our volunteers not only serve as docents, keeping our gallery open during our regular hours, but some also choose to help us with special behind-the-scenes projects as well.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, attend one of our upcoming Docent Information Sessions to learn more about what our volunteers do and to sign up for docent hours in the gallery:

Friday, September 6th @12:00 pm (Old Main 1227, gallery)
OR
Tuesday September 17th @1:30 pm (Old Main 1227, gallery)

These training sessions are open to all Wayne State students, and there is no obligation to sign up for volunteer hours if you attend a meeting.

If you can't attend either session but are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us at grosscupmuseum@wayne.edu so we can set up a time to meet with you.
