Kristina Eden, Hathitrust's resident Open expert, will represent HathiTrust and their role in advocating for and enabling open materials for research and pedagogy. Eden will cover how member libraries have unique opportunities to ensure access to materials published on their own campuses/departments, as well as how to use the digital library to create collections of items in the public domain worldwide. She, along with Member Engagement and Communication Specialist for Hathitrust, Jessica Rohr, will also demonstrate a simple text mining tool that permits exploration of the entire 17 million item corpus.
