In July 2019 the Levin Center at Wayne Law launched an interactive website debuting the original research on oversight practices in all 50 states conducted by the Wayne State Center for Urban Studies (CUS), highlighting results from a 1,000-page study commissioned by the Levin Center.  The website readily displays the results of the research using click-on maps of the United States.  The research identifies six dimensions of oversight and evaluates each state's capacity for and use of oversight based on those dimensions. The website can be viewed at http://stateoversightmap.org.

To promote the study’s findings and the website’s interactive maps, the Levin Center is conducting an hour-long webinar open to the public but primarily directed at state legislators and their staffs. Dr. Sarbaugh-Thompson, who headed the study for CUS, will discuss the results of the research project, including best practices and lessons learned.

The webinar will take place on October 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm EST.
