The major focus of research in the College of Nursing is urban health. These seminars present new ideas, methodologies and/or potential collaborators for faculty and students. Each session is led by a guest speaker for 45 minutes with another 15 minutes for discussion and Q&A. No fees are required and seminars are open to all.

The guest speaker for October 22, 2019 is Dr. Erin Comartin, PhD, LMSW, Associate Professor of Social Work and Data Director at the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice. Her topic will be Mental Health Assessment and Screening: Using Data to Inform jail-based Interventions.
