The goal of this online course is to explain the disturbing topic of trauma bonding. Why some individuals engage in emotionally charged relationships resulting in abuse and victimization and the impact it has on the populations social workers serve. 3 CEUs.

1. To Learn a working definition for Trauma Bonds

2. Identify the origins of childhood trauma

3. Identifying trauma specific therapeutic interventions and resources
