Come join the Wayne English Graduate Organization to welcome back four recent graduates with a conversation of the opportunities, challenges, and paths forward after completing the program. Our speakers will discuss navigating the job market, adapting to unanticipated challenges, and how their specific experiences at Wayne State helped them pursue careers both within in and outside of academia.

The panel discussion will be followed by a question and answer period; attendees are encouraged to inquire how their experience at Wayne State might lead to a number of diverse possibilities. This event is free and open to the public.

Speakers include:

Sean Milligan: PhD in Rhetoric & Composition, Visiting Professor in the Writing Department at Grand Valley State University

Judith Lakamper: PhD in Literary & Cultural Studies, Associate Acquisitions Editor for Cultural Studies and Gender Studies at Rowman & Littlefield

Marie Buck: PhD in Literary & Cultural Studies, Managing Editor for Social Text Online
