The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) guidelines is a scientifically valid framework developed by the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST.ORG) and a recommended method for designing instruction that is flexible and engaging for all types of students. This workshop will provide participants with an overview of the UDL principles and examine the best practices for implementing UDL in any course by providing multiple means of representation, action and expression, and engagement.  This workshop is designed for faculty and staff in ALL disciplines.

Please join us for an active and engaging workshop to learn how to use the UDL guidelines to reduce barriers and improve learning in the classroom. The UDL workshop will be held from 5-6:30 pm in the College of Education, Room 112 at Wayne State University.
