In this communications design workshop, you will develop your own pitches and learn strategies to convey how your social science skills create value on the employment market outside of the university.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, February 27, in the Faculty Administration Building in 2339 FAB. 

Dr. Adam Gamwell is a design anthropologist and host of the popular "This Anthro Life" podcast and co-founder of Missing Link Studios, a research and design collaborative that uses design thinking and the social sciences to create strategy, media and experiences for businesses and organizations. Dr. Gamwell's dissertation field work at Brandeis focused on implementing conservation methodologies for at-risk Andean crops in southern Peru, where he helped improve communication between government ministries, NGOs and farming communities. Dr. Gamwell works between academic and applied realms. His website is www.gamwell.design 

This workshop is hosted by the Anthropology Graduate Student Organization.
