The Department of Music's Music Studio @ Wayne State will stream the music of jazz pianist, composer, arranger and WSU faculty, the late Matt Michaels.

This performance was originally presented as part of the Centennial Series concert at the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center on December 3, 2018 celebrating the the music of Professor Michaels with performances of his jazz orchestrations and compositions by the WSU Jazz Big Band and Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Professor Russ Miller.

Special guest soloists include:

  • Chris Collins, saxophone
  • Dwight Adams, trumpet
  • Ron Kischuk, trombone
  • Johnny Trudell, trumpet
