The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of virtual and online networks to supported continued professional engagement and well-being. Join us for a hands on webinar with Dr. Jennifer Hart of the WSU Department of History to learn how you can harness Twitter to strengthen your network. To make the most of this webinar, create an account for your program in Twitter and follow at least two of the following: Dr. Jennifer Hart (@DetroittoAccra), WSU Faculty Development and Faculty Success (@WSUFacSuccess), a relevant professional society, or influential faculty/staff/admins in your field.  

Learning Outcomes 

Participants will be able to: 

  1. Describe the benefits of being active on Twitter (not just lurking!) 
  2. Create a more robust professional Twitter profile 
  3. Connect with other professionals on Twitter
  4. Create a plan to expand the Twitter presence and influence of their programs
