The major focus of research in the College of Nursing is urban health. These seminars present new ideas, methodologies and/or potential collaborators for faculty and students. Each session is led by a guest speaker for 45 minutes with another 15 minutes for discussion and Q&A. No fees are required and seminars are open to all.

The guest speaker for April 21st is Dr. Steve Ondersma, Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, and Obstetrics and Gynecology, School of Medicine; and Deputy Director of the Merrill-Palmer Skillman Institute. His topic will be Using electronic screening and brief intervention (e-SBI) to identify and reduce substance use in the perinatal period.
