Want to promote the great work the people in your department/unit/program are doing on social media but don't know where to start? Join us for a hands on webinar with Dr. Jennifer Hart of the WSU Department of History to learn the ins and outs of Twitter. To make the most of this webinar, create an account for your program in Twitter and follow at least two of the following: Dr. Jennifer Hart (@DetroittoAccra), WSU Faculty Development and Faculty Success (@WSUFacSuccess), a relevant professional society, another similar program, influential faculty/staff/admins in your field.  

Learning Outcomes 

Participants will be able to: 

  1. Describe the benefits of having a program Twitter presence 
  2. Create a more robust Twitter profile for their program
  3. Identify strategies to promote faculty/staff/student work on Twitter
  4. Create a plan to expand the Twitter presence and influence of their programs
