Whether you're looking to advance your career or to help others to maximize their career potential, there is great value in learning more about cognitive science that can be applied to the career cycle of getting a job, excelling at it, and moving on. In this webinar, cognitive scientist Art Markman will discuss key aspects of motivation, social behavior, and cognition that affect career success, and will illustrate each topic with stories drawn from real life experiences. Art will explore: -The psychology behind career happiness and the role of values in making a career contribution -Elements that increase productivity and the ability to learn on the job -Cognitive science underlying workplace communication and leadership -Factors that help people to decide whether to change careers, to leave a firm, or to seek a promotion within an organization
