"A Call to Arms: Psychiatry's Role in Managing at Risk Populations During A Global Pandemic"

  1. Identify elements of stress during a global crisis, drawing examples from the Great Recession, SARS, and previous pandemics.
  2. Discussing the effects of the pandemic on at-risk populations.
  3. Identifying psychosocial barriers to accessing care, engagement in treatment.
  4. Exploring preventative measures and immediate/long term goals for mental health initiatives during a global crisis.
