Michigan is #3 in the country in cases of human trafficking. Michigan requires that healthcare professionals learn about human trafficking and how to identify and help victims.
OBJECTIVES
• Identify traits associated with a human trafficking victim and mechanisms used in grooming these victims
• Recognize behavioral and physical traits of sex trafficking victims
• Discuss the process of grooming and examine grooming methods
• Explore ways to prevent and fight sex trafficking at home and in your community
