The major focus of research in the College of Nursing is urban health. These seminars present new ideas, methodologies and/or potential collaborators for faculty and students. Each session is led by a guest speaker for 45 minutes with another 15 minutes for discussion and Q&A. No fees are required and seminars are open to all.
The topic for the September 8th seminar is Research Interest Groups Discussions about Potential Collaborations. The speakers will be:
Health Disparities Research Interest Group Facilitator: Dr. Wanda Gibson-Scipio, PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP, ATSF, Associate Professor (Clinical), Co-Program Director, Michigan Area Health Education Center
and
Stress Research Interest Group Facilitator: Rosalind Peters, PhD, RN, FAAN, Associate Professor, Wayne State University College of Nursing.
