The major focus of research in the College of Nursing is urban health. These seminars present new ideas, methodologies and/or potential collaborators for faculty and students. Each session is led by a guest speaker for 45 minutes with another 15 minutes for discussion and Q&A. No fees are required and seminars are open to all.
The topic for the October 6th seminar is New Scholar Workshop: Getting a Scholarly Program Started. The speakers will be:
Rick Zimmerman, PhD, Associate Dean for Research, Wayne State University College of Nursing
and
Jessica Spruit, DNP, RN, CPNP-AC, CPHON, BMTCN, Assistant Professor (Clinical) and Graduate Specialty Coordinator, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care, Wayne State University College of Nursing.
