On November 4th at 5:00pm, Wayne State's Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice is hosting a Webinar Event: "Understanding Police Reform." Panelists will be addressing the state of police reform in the U.S., more urgent components of calls for reform, and various pathways that could be pursued moving forward.
The featured speakers include V.P. for Diversity and Inclusion at the University of New Haven who is a nationally recognized leader in police-community relations: Dr. Lorenzo Boyd, former Detroit Police Homicide Detective and Special Agent for the State of Michigan Attorney General's office Conviction Integrity Unit: Khary Mason, and Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice at North Carolina Central University and policing expert: Dr. Robert Brown.
