The International Lunch and Learn Series is a special event hosted by Wayne State University to celebrate International Education Week in which WSU faculty will lead interactive conversations with students, staff, and other faculty about issues that are impacting the global community today.

Global Perspectives on the U.S.:

In the midst of a global pandemic, social justice movements, and a high degree of political turmoil, what is the perception of the United States on a global scale? Dr. Kevin Deegan-Krause from political science will lead a panel discussion with fellow faculty to showcase their research and discuss their understanding of the way in which other countries are reacting to current events in the United States. For students, faculty, and staff.

This event is part of International Education Week 2020!

International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that focuses on the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The goal is to prepare American students for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Students will earn a virtual raffle ticket every time they attend an event throughout the week. At the end of the week, a virtual raffle drawing will determine which five lucky students who participated in International Education Week will win a $50 Amazon gift card! The more events you attend, the more likely you are to win!
