Brewing Chemistry presents Arsenic in the Wallpaper with Rachel Clark of the Michigan History Center on Tuesday, December 15th, 2020 at 7 PM via Zoom.

Back in Victorian times, many hidden killers existed in our homes—even in our wallpaper. Learn the thrilling and morbid story of arsenic’s luminous green appeal through the lens of Michigan’s Dr. Kedzie, a professor who published a book of wallpaper samples that included dangerous arsenic dyes. Rachel Clark's talk ties into the 1874 book - Shadows From the Walls of Death by Dr. Robert Clark Kedzie.
