Research Development Seminar: Authorship Disputes: An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure!
The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to offer the research development seminar series. Seminars are free but registration is required
This seminar, Authorship Disputes: An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure! will take place on Thursday, April 1st, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm as a Zoom virtual presentation.
In theory, authorship sounds straightforward, but in practice it often causes headaches. This seminar will focus on three topics:
- What rules govern authorship?
- What should authors do to prevent authorship disputes among co-authors, collaborators, and trainees?
- How are authorship grievances handled at Wayne State? Please join us for an informative and fascinating discussion.
Note: You are encouraged to submit specific questions you would like addressed prior to the seminar. To do so, please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
