Science Policy Network-Detroit (SciPol- Detroit) is an organization that aims to bridge the gap between scientists, lawmakers, and the Detroit community through science policy advocacy and communication. The group will host a virtual panel to inform individuals across all disciplines about the impact that air pollution has on the Detroit community. SciPol-Detroit purposefully chose panelists across several areas of expertise (e.g., science, law, public health, advocacy) so that our attendees will get a full-circle perspective on this issue. Panelists include Nicholas Schroeck (environmental law expert), Donele Wilkins (environmental justice expert), Yaoxian Huang (air pollutant and engineering expert), and Amy Schulz (environmental exposures and health inequities expert).

This event is open to all and you can register for the event hereOnce you sign-up, your name will be added to our email list and you will receive the Zoom link through an email as the date of the event approaches.
