Powering the Industry with Electrochemistry Seminar Series with Dr. Hongfei Jia from Toyota Research Institute of North America (TRINA) will be speaking on the topic: "Electrocatalysis for Fuel Cells and CO2 Reduction." Thursday, April 29th, 2 p.m. ET.

Dr. Hongfei Jia graduated from the University of Akron in 2005 with a Ph.D degree in Chemical Engineering and joined Toyota since then. He has been in the positions of Postdoc Researcher, Senior Research Scientist and Principal Research Scientist, and now serves as the Senior Research Manager of TRINA’s Catalytic Material Research Group. Dr. Jia’s research interests include fuel cell materials, emission control, solar energy utilization, artificial photo synthesis (CO2 reduction), bioactive and nano-materials.
