Objectives:

At the end of the presentation, learners will be able to: 

1.  Describe toxic stress and its effect on fetal development.

2.  Identify psychosocial interventions on the treatment of mental illness during pregnancy and post-partum.

3.  Demonstrate use of pharmacologic management of mental illness during pregnancy and post-partum.
