The Student Story Slam is an open-mic-style storytelling competition. It is open to anyone with a six-minute story to share on the event's theme. The featured stories are scored by 3 judges selected randomly from the audience. Each Student Story Slam event will generate a Story Slam winner. The theme for the first slam is "the time I overcame..." with a goal of 6 speakers presenting. Student stories are told, not read. We love how storytellers connect with the audience when there is no PAGE between them! No notes, paper or cheat sheets are allowed on stage. Come ready to share your story. Tell us about the time you overcame...
