Please join us next Friday, November 5, from 3-4:30 p.m., for our next First Fridays in Anthropology event! Dr. Barry Lyons will be giving a talk entitled "How to Make a Sustainable Living in an Ecuadorian Village: The Challenge of Agroecology." Due to high test-positivity rates in the metro area, we will be holding the event via Zoom. We hope to be able to hold future events in person. Please click on the link in the flyer or below to register.

These talks will be inviting, accessible, introductions to the research of our fabulous faculty, with a focus on the significance of anthropology for the public. Eventually, we envision that these talks will be followed by a reception with a chance to socialize and chat. Please bring your friends and family -- these talks are meant to be accessible to a broad audience.
