Dr. Vanessa V. Volpe, assistant professor of Psychology at North Carolina State University, will join us to discuss the early phases of academia. Dr. Volpe will talk about the job search process and interviewing, transitioning from a small liberal arts college to an R1 institution, and some of the challenges and opportunities associated with each of these steps.

At 1 pm  a professional Ddevelopment discussion session will start for WSU, Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute and Institute of Gerontology students only.
