Join Juneteenth at WSU by sharing your views or journey with incarcerated women that are interested in attending Wayne State University!
Details:
- Select 1 of the 3 prompts
- Give examples of women who were once incarcerated and successfully re-entered society. Describe their accomplishments to instill encouragement.
- 1/8 of prisoners paroled are women, who are at a higher risk of homelessness and poverty once released. Talk about the resources or programs that serve women reentering society, highlighting their usefulness, and giving suggestions as needed.
- Share some of your greatest achievements and difficult endeavors as a student.
- Submit a 30-60 second video to Juneteenth@wayne.edu
