In celebration of the 95th anniversary of the Women Chemists Committee and the 50th anniversary of NOBCChE, the Midland, Detroit, and Huron Valley ACS local sections bring you the 5th annual Skills Beyond the Bench. This year our event will be held at CERM on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. Registration for attendance at 2022 SBTB is free but does require a completed registration at CERM.

Regardless of your career path in the chemical sciences, opportunities for leadership will likely come your way. You might be asked to chair a committee, manage a new project, or seek regional or national office. Why should you say yes or no, can you say yes and still find a work-life balance, and what are the benefits of saying yes? Our panel of speakers from area industry and academia will discuss where their journey in leadership has taken them.
