The American Red Cross will host a blood drive at the School of Medicine from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 22.

Donating a pint of blood can save up to three lives. To make an appointment online, visit redcrossblood.org and type in WSUMED as the sponsor code.

To speed the process even more, complete the Rapid Pass on the day of the drive so all your information is already on file when you get there. In order to do this, please go to redcrossblood.org/rapidpass

Make sure to drink lots of water and have some food beforehand. There will be drinks and snacks afterward. Donors will receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice.
