The mutual benefit of evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder in a jail system

This training will focus on the benefits of using an evidence-based occupational safety framework to train law enforcement officers on best-practices for working with persons who use drugs. Attendees will learn the importance of identifying a substance use disorder issue versus a mental health issue and learn how providing MAT through medical in the facility improves the workplace.
