As the 2022 election approaches, it is easy to feel helpless. Fortunately, there is a way you can help safeguard our democracy: volunteer on Election Day. Organizations from across the state are working to ensure our elections continue to be free and fair amidst a rise of misinformation and voter suppression attempts. Join us to hear from experts on how you can get involved in the effort to protect our democratic institutions, including poll watching, challenging, and election observing.
Featured guest: Kate Mason, grants manager, Michigan United Jordan Smallie and U.S. elections coordinator, The Carter Center
This event is presented by the Wayne Law Voting Rights and Election Law Society.
