Wayne State Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (WSSLHA) is an organization that was created for students who are aspiring to go into Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, typically with an undergraduate or post-bacc background. With the return back to campus being in full swing, our meetings will consist of a hybrid of virtual and in-person events. We host two meetings per month and by joining WSSLHA, you can get to know people with similar interests and can join one of four committees. We offer a social, multicultural, volunteer, and fundraising committee within WSSLHA and each committee will create and host events throughout the year. As a general body member, you can gain leadership experience by becoming a board member in the future, along with educational or community service opportunities during the year! If you would like to join us, email us at wsslha.ug.pb@gmail.com.
