Andrew L. Maske is Professor of Museum Studies/Anthropology and Director of the Gordon L. Grosscup Museum of Anthropology at Wayne State University. His research focuses on the production, use, and aesthetics of historical and contemporary Asian ceramics and on the role of Japanese women in the arts. Dr. Maske received his doctoral degree (DPhil) from Oxford University in 1995.
