That is right: the Wayne State University MSW Program now has a FULLY online option!

Starting in 2023, the Wayne State School of Social Work will now offer both current and prospective students the option of an online asynchronous Masters of Social Work (MSW) program. Currently, the new online MSW program is exclusively available to Full Time Interpersonal Practice Concentration students.

Due to reserved capacity, space for this online program is limited and students will be selected on a first come first served basis.  Slots will be allocated for both current and incoming MSW students.

The School of Social Work is excited to now meet the emerging needs of online learning for our graduate students. However, entering an online program has its’ own set of expectations and limitations. Therefore, the Office of Admissions and Student Services (OASS) invites all interested students to the following MSW Online Information Sessions:

At these sessions, students will receive a comprehensive online program/curriculum walkthrough, as well as a briefing on program procedures and guidelines.

To best communicate with large groups, each of the Information Sessions is targeted to current and prospective students, respectively. Any student is welcome at either session though. Zoom information will be provided upon RSVP completion.

Get ready to ‘go online’! RSVP for our MSW Online Information Sessions today.
