You can’t watch TV without seeing a post-apocalyptic show about human survival. Environmentalists have warned earthlings about the risk of an event so catastrophic that it brings about the apocalypse. Surely, every now and again we have to wonder, how would we survive the apocalypse!?

 Join us as we pose this question to a panel of Wayne State Engineers live on Zoom.  Your vote determines which panelist, based on argument, rationale, and engineering ingenuity survives the apocalypse!

 Panelists may consider coming up with solutions such as:

• Purifying Water
• Growing Food
• Generating Power
• Creating infrastructure
• Preventing Infection

Creativity is encouraged, so don’t discount Computer Science! According to movies, AI may be the best solution to survival in a virtual reality. Human survival can be questionable but engineers have the answers. The iron or steel ring is the signature symbol of engineers. What better prize is there then being crowned the victor in the Battle for the Iron Ring.
