Wild at Wayne: Peregrine Falcons, Migratory Birds, and Native Plant Gardens
Join us at the STEM Commons on Monday, April 3 from 5-6 PM for a presentation on peregrine falcons, migratory birds, and native plant gardens hosted by Michelle Serreyn, an alumna of WSU with a doctorate in science education. She currently works for the Department of Natural Resources at the Outdoor Adventure Center in downtown Detroit, developing and delivering natural and cultural history programs for all ages. At the event, we'll take a quick tour of some of the native plant gardens on campus and discover the wildlife they support. Additionally, if you want to get involved and are interested in planting, monitoring our local wildlife, and more, join the Detroit Biodiversity Network student organization!
