The Center for Leadership in Environmental Awareness and Research (CLEAR) invites the campus community to their 2023 Symposium, CLEAR: The Big Picture. CLEAR is funded by a Superfund grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences of the National Institutes of Health (P42ES030991). CLEAR's Superfund Research Program works to solve pressing issues related to the effects of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), focusing on human and environmental health. This symposium will present new findings on maternal and infant health and on plans to develop new ways of detecting and monitoring VOCs in the environment and in people's homes.

Included in the symposium will be a Science Communication Workshop on the translation of scientific information for social media. This workshop will be suitable for all audiences. It will engage the audience with the following issues:

• How important is social media to doing research?
• What social media platforms are most helpful?
• What are some common tips and tricks for effective engagement using social media?
• What are some danger areas you should be careful navigating?
