On May 4, 11 and 18, TechTown Detroit is hosting a three-part Training Series on sales for small business owners who are in the growth stage of their businesses and looking to expand.
The first session will focus on an eight-step customer acquisition and retention process. The second session will delve into forming a personal board of directors to help you avoid the “alone on an island pitfall” that traps most small business owners. The third session will be two parts, a revenue forecasting workshop and an introduction to the business assessment program.
The best part of this Training Series is that participants will have the opportunity to receive one of five comprehensive assessments that identify internal controls that impact profitability. The assessment reviews labor, inventory control cycles, purchasing power, trade credit, placement and financial management processes. The assessment is valued at $2,000 and will include a report with findings and recommendations for a strategic realignment of their business.
This workshop is made possible with support from Bank of America, New Economy Initiative, and the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation.
