The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Health and Wellness Committee presents: Guided Painting with the Be Creative Studio, led by artist Curtis Wallace.
Join us in the lower-level Applebaum Building Commons for a step-by-step guide to creating your own personal masterpiece to take home or hang in your work space. You'll choose from three colorful paintings, and all materials will be provided during this complimentary, creativity-fueling event.
Please RSVP so we know how many easels to prepare for this fun afternoon of companionship and low-stress painting — all levels welcome!
The Be Creative Studio is owned and operated by Curtis Wallace, who works with students of all ages, from preschool to senior citizens. He is determined to use his artistic gifts to help people let go of self-doubt and anxiety, showing them how to explore their talents and lean into their own unique creativity. His approach to art is based in positivity and affirmations, leaving the old ways of right or wrong approaches in the past. From Ypsilanti, Wallace is an award-winning artist whose work can be found hanging in homes around the world, at the Ann Arbor library and outside murals across metro Detroit.
