On Monday, April 10, the WSU Learning Community Program will host our first LC Showcase, to highlight all of the amazing work being done by our student Peer Mentors and faculty/staff LC Coordinators.  Peer Mentors and Coordinators have developed brief presentations, poster displays and videos to feature how the different LCs across WSU are building community and supporting our students. This event will be held from 2:00-5:00pm in the Student Center Building. This is intended to be a “pop in” event; attend the sessions as you are available, walk through the posters stations, or join us for our LC award ceremony from 4:00-5:00pm.

A new addition to the LC Showcase is the High-Impact Practices fair! WSU offices and programs that promote high-impact practices (HIPs) will be talking about how their programs enhance teaching and learning. Students can learn more about how to get involved in these programs, while faculty and staff can learn how they can implement different HIPs into their academic and/or student services curriculum.

We look forward to sharing all of our LC successes with you, on Monday, April 10 from 2:00-5:00pm, in the Student Center Ballroom. Light refreshments will be provided.
