Meet Me in the Neighborhood: A Discussion on Community-Engaged Research, Teaching and Learning

The Wayne State University School of Social Work Center for Social Work Reserach is excited to invite SW faculty, staff and students to "Meet Me in the Neighborhood: A Discussion on Community-Engaged Research and Community-Engaged Teaching and Learning".
This session will highlight lessons learned from a community engagement summer intensive training and spotlight one community engaged research project and one service learning project done by the presenter and her colleagues in the Hope Village Neighborhood in Detroit. Attendees will receive copies of handouts on conceptual frameworks, scholarly resources, and practical partnership, collaboration, and evaluation tools.
