40th Annual African World Festival- Warrior Volunteers Needed
This event is in the past.
2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Let’s do it again! Wayne State University is pleased to support the 40th Annual African World Festival taking place on Friday-Sunday, July 14-16 at Hart Plaza. Over 100,000 guests will enjoy this 3-day, family-friendly event showcasing African Diaspora and arts & culture. This also will be a great opportunity for WSU staff, faculty, students and alumni to inform potential students and their parents about our institution and the approximately 350 programs offered by our 13 schools and colleges.
We are seeking Warrior volunteers for the WSU tent to pass out WSU information and answer questions about our outstanding institution. Volunteer shifts are every 3 hours from 11am-8pm each day. Volunteers will receive free admission to the festival and a complimentary WSU AWF t-shirt while supplies last.
