Metro Detroit’s free annual diversity-themed music festival. Global music at its finest at this colorful, festive, upbeat summer event. The Concert of Colors has become the Midwest’s biggest diversity and arts festival.
This family-friendly event is located indoors and outdoors with performances at Metro Detroit’s cultural institutions. Most live performances take place in the Midtown Cultural Center on the lawn of the Detroit Institute of Arts, and neighboring institutions the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Scarab Club, Michigan Science Center and Hellenic Museum.
