New Center and Milwaukee Junction Walking Tour for WSU Employees
This event is in the past.
3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Walk New Center and beyond with a local guide who will show you all the great businesses, restaurants and developments shaping campus today.
From unique small businesses and specialty restaurants, to large scale commercial and residential projects there is a lot happening throughout the city of Detroit. Walk the neighborhoods surrounding the Wayne State University Integrative Biosciences Center (IBio) with a local guide who will share insights into the past and present of the neighborhoods —the people, places and projects that make it unique — and point out places faculty and staff can grab coffee, lunch or an after-work drink.
Organized by Wayne State’s Office of Economic Development (OED) in partnership with Human Resources, these tours are designed to connect faculty and staff with the greater Wayne State neighborhood and promote employee wellness and team building.
