The Wayne State University School of Social Work invites incoming students to our Fall 2023 BSW and MSW Core Orientation! This four-part orientation will take place from August 21-24, 2023, and is designed for incoming students as a way to make new friends, learn the ropes, and get settled into the program. Join your fellow students to learn about field education, financial aid, student resources and more at these sessions! Students are required to attend all four mandatory orientation events.

In this Core Orientation Part 1 virtual session, students will learn about the difference between micro and macro social work, discover online supports, and explore how the writing center can benefit you.
